The council would like to thank more than twenty residents who gave up their Sunday yesterday to be trained with regard to saving lives and the use of CPR, the defibrillator and first aid training This is part of the Resilience Training that is required if an emergency should hit the village. The council would like to thank Councillor Mel Mileham who organised the event and Paul and Shawn from FWE Training (both experienced ambulance men) who ensured the training was helpful and enjoyable. The training was funded by a grant which the council received from Somerset Prepared to ensure villages are able to deal with local emergencies.
