About The Parish Council

Accessibility Statement update (see also ‘Accessibility Statement’ in header)  – Winsford Parish Council has developed this new Council website which is WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) version 2.1 AA standard compliant.  This website, ordered in July 2020, was expected to be in place by mid September but delays due to Covid-19 pushed the publishing date back.  In December a new version (V2) became available, and the council decided to upgrade to this new version, and go live in January 2021.

Our Priorities

Winsford Parish Council’s priority is to administer with prudence, minimum interference and within the requirements of the law those aspects of village life for which we are responsible to the best of our ability, with the aim of improving quality of life for all the residents of Winsford.

Meetings

Winsford Parish Council meets the last Monday in every second month at 7.30 p.m. in Winsford Village Hall.

Agendas and minutes of the meetings are posted on the notice board by the Village Bus Shelter in the centre of the village and are available on this website.

Residents of Winsford parish are most welcome to attend Parish Council meetings.

The Annual Parish Meeting is usually held in March each year and provides an opportunity for all to attend and hear what your Council has been doing on your behalf, and to share views and to raise questions and concerns.
