Winsford Conservation Area

Good morning

As all residents are aware a lot of discussions have been held with regard to the centre of Winsford becoming a conservation area as part of the mandate which national parks adhere to, At the council meeting on Monday night (28th November) it was discussed at some length by the six councillors which were in attendance, at the conclusion it was proposed that a vote should take place, the result of the vote was as follows, three for the conservation area, two against and one abstention, this result has been sent to Exmoor Parks at Dulverton. The decision on whether Winsford becomes a conservation area will be made by the park members in February or March, there is still time for residents to air their views in writing to the park before the consultation date expires.

Have a nice day
