Good morning
The council are delighted to inform residents that at last night’s council meeting, the decision was taken to order the new replacement swings for the village green, it is hoped that they will be in place by next Easter, to enable the swings to be ordered the target of £9000 had to be reached, the council would like to thank all the residents of the village who gave to this worthy cause no matter how small or big the contribution was it was a wonderful effort to raise that amount money in such a short time, of course we have to thank Sue Hayes for organising events, talking to charities and ensuring the council were made aware of how the fund was progressing. The village and all residents should be immensely proud of what has been achieved.
