You may recall that Somerset West and Taunton Council gave the council eight tree saplings, which councillors Sarah Little and Mel Mileham have started to plant, three have been planted along the side of the river on the land which was given to the council by Ann Le Bas, and the two Hawthorns have been planted on the verge side as you go out of the village to Exford. Â The remaining three trees will be planted around the village, probably two on the village green, and one on the car park, to replace trees that have been felled due to Ash dieback.
