The committee who are organising the village “Big Lunch” on Sunday 5th June thought it would be a good idea to inform the residents of what progress has been made. It is envisaged that the lunch will commence at 12.30 and conclude early evening, live music has been arranged for the afternoon, a vintage vehicle exhibition around the village, a design a flag by the children of the village also residents if they would like to partake, maypole dancing, duck racing and a community cake table. More details will follow in the next few weeks. The minutes of the meeting will be available by Saturday and can be viewed on the council noticeboard and the village and parish council websites. Every resident in the parish will receive an invitation by the beginning of May.
