Good morning,
The council have been asked to explain how the election for the next parish council will be conducted, eight candidates have registered with the election commission by the closing date of April 4th which has resulted in a ballot to fill the seven places on the council. The ballot will take place on Thursday 5th May the same time as the county council elections, the parish council ballot paper will contain eight names where the residents will be asked to vote for no more than seven candidates. This is the first time in over twenty years that an election has taken place in Winsford for the parish council.
