Good morning,
The council felt that it should keep parishioners up to date with where we are legally with the rest of the field where the tennis courts are, which was given to the council in November in Miss Ann’s will, to be used for recreation purposes. The situation at the present time, is that the council are in the process of acquiring quotations so that the field can fulfil its legal obligations. In the past Miss Ann’s estate has paid for the transfer of land but this time it is the responsibility of the council, and the legal bill will be in excess of £600. When the field is legally the councils, plans will be drawn up, together hopefully with grants, to carry out Miss Ann’s wishes to make it a recreational area for all parishioners young and old.
Have a nice day.
Colin
