Good morning
Somerset County Council Highways department have appointed a highways supervisor for Exmoor, the idea behind this is that the supervisor will be responsible for clearing drains and gullies, strimming around village and road signs ensuring signs can be read and are clean plus other jobs that are needed to make the village a safer place to live. To ensure we do this in a way that is controllable Ian Brooks will be responsible for reporting jobs to the supervisor and ensuring the follow up, to contact Ian e-mail ian.brooks97@gmail.com. The council would point out that major works such as new drainage which includes road closures etc has nothing to do with the highways supervisor.
