Avon and Somerset Police have reported that a Volkswagon vehicle was broken into at Tarr Steps Car Park on Sunday between 5.00pm and 7.15pm, the owners returned to the vehicle to find the side window had been smashed and a handbag containing ID and bank cards had been stolen, if you can help the police with this investigation please contact on 101 quoting crime number 5222193174.
The police continue to urge all motorist not to leave any valuables on show when leaving the car unattended.
