Following the first consultative meeting which was held on Monday 3rd October which should have been a “one to one” and not a general meeting which this meeting was turned into. The council have been criticised for not attending the meeting in a formal capacity, this was due to it being for residents to sit down one to one with the park representative to discuss their concerns. Following this meeting the council will be organising a residents meeting either on Monday 17th or Tuesday 18th (date and time will be confirmed on Monday 10th) where residents will be able to put their view either for or against the conservation area. The councils view which was agreed at the council meeting in May was in favour of the area but that it would listen to the views of the residents and a final decision would be made at a future meeting.
Have a nice day
