Ash Trees on Car Park

Good morning,

The council are pleased to inform the parishioners that the one Ash tree marked for felling on the car park has been saved for the time being, with just a few limbs pruned after the council asked Somerset County Council, who own the car park, if they would reconsider.  The remaining Ash trees on the car park have also been pruned.  Somerset County Council have pointed out to the council that they would expect at the most, for the trees to last up to three years, as at present Ash Dieback is incurable.  The Ash tree that was felled yesterday was in a dangerous state and the owner was advised for safety reasons to have it felled.

Have a good day.
