The annual fete will take place for the first time after a three year absence on the recreation ground on Saturday 13th August, to help to organise and plan for this very important event in the village Sue Hayes has called a meeting tonight at the village hall commencing at 7.00pm, all residents are invited and if you would like to get involved or have any ideas they would be most welcome.
The “Plant Sale” on Saturday raised £684 which will be added to the “Swing Fund” which now stands at over £3ooo, Sue would like to thank everybody, the volunteers who helped run the event and residents who gave plants, and last but not least to everybody who attended and helped to make it a great success.
