The council would like to thank the volunteers who spent an afternoon clearing and tidying up the Village Green of its old foliage this work is really appreciated by all the community and visitors. The council would like to point out that unless younger volunteers come forward there is a possibility that next year the council will have to use a gardening contractor, which of course will see an increase in the local council tax.
