To facilitate this a new system is being introduced to enable patients to book into the Minehead Hospital site via a text message invitation.
The text message will take you to a link to book your appointment at Minehead Hospital site.
It will require confirmation of your date of birth but will never ask for bank details.
To assure you the message is genuine, it will state your GP surgery and the link when clicked on looks like the screen shot shown below.
Please share so that friends and family know this is a genuine invitation from your GP surgery.
We will continue to telephone patients without a mobile number registered so please do not call your surgery.”
