Please be aware of a telephone scam going around the local area. Several residents have been contacted to say-”there has been an amount of money attempted to be taken from their card (credit or debit) for purchases from different online retailers. If this is correct press 1 to authorise or 2 to be put through to the security department.”
DO NOT PRESS ANYTHING as it will take you through to the scammers pretending to be security and obtain your details.
