Avon and Somerset Local Resilience Forum have declared a major incident from 7.00pm to midday today, Friday, due to storm Eunice, the storm has the potential to cause significant disruption and dangerous conditions, along the coast a flood warning has been issued for Porlock Weir, there is a risk of 90mph guest of winds affecting trees and temporary structures across Somerset which could cause power and road disruption, bearing that in mind residents are asked to avoid travelling this morning and stay indoors if possible.
