The council have been advised that Parish Council Elections in Somerset will take place on Thursday 5th May, although it has only been three years since the last election, the reason being the election has been called because the government are insisting that all elections in Somerset are to be on one date now that it is a single unitary council that governs Somerset from April 2023, the next elected council will therefore serve for five years. The nomination forms will be available from the clerk from March 21st.
