Mel Mileham

It is with great regret that Mel has informed the Parish Council that she will be retiring from the council at the November 25th meeting, during the last ten years Mel has been an outstanding councillor especially with regard to environmental issues, flooding prevention, riparian owners, and the implementation of the resilient plan by ordering and collecting the equipment by way of a grant and coming up with the idea of a shed incorporated in the bus shelter. Mel will be sourly missed and every councillor wish her a happy and healthy retirement and thank her again for the service and dedication she has given to the parish which we are sure is appreciated by all residents.

During the next week or so, the council will be advertising the vacancy which will be until April 2027, when the new Parish Council will be elected up to 2031, if any local resident is interested in being part of the council please e-mail Jennifer Yates, Clerk to the Council on winsfordparishcouncil@gmail.com.
