The Winsford Indoor Short Mat Bowls Club cerebrated its 30 year anniversary last Tuesday in the village hall, under the leadership and enthusiasm of John Titcombe, the bowls club has started to recruit new members after the impact of covid. The club meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.30pm, with a break for a drink and biscuits, the club has two mats therefore up to eight people can play at a time, if you would like to have a go and learn the art of bowls, John would make you most welcome and of course it is a form of exercise.
