The council are pleased to inform all residents that a Emergency Blood Kit has been installed next to the Defibrillator on the wall of the Village Hall, the Blood Kit is one of the first to be installed on Exmoor, and it is registered on a national programme.
The blood kits were introduced in towns to help victims of stabbing’s, but due to the rise in other blood injuries including car accidents, farm and home accidents, the NHS have requested that a national programme should be implemented.
The blood kit can be activated by breaking the yellow tie.
