It is with deep regret that the council have been advised that Charlie Stevens has passed away, Charlie for many years with his wife Sheila were landlord and landlady of The Royal Oak, and for years after Charlie ran a very popular taxi service within the village. When the dates have been released for the funeral, and if a memorial service is to be held, the council will inform parisheners of the dates.
