The council would like to remind residents who have children and young adults under 25, who would like help with educational needs, that the next closing date for applications is 31st December. The council would urge all parents who want to give their children that little extra to apply for a grant, the grants cover all needs from swimming lessons, music lessons, driving lessons and driving test to enable children to go to college or find work, also grants to help with the purchase of laptops etc. If you require an application form and more information please contact Keith Lindop, The Stepp, or any councillor who will be able to help.
