As already advised the large Ash tree by the memorial will be felled on Thursday 11th (weather permitting) it would be very helpful if cars that are parked by the memorial are moved by 7.00 am on Thursday morning, The Green will be closed for the duration of the felling which is expected to last two days.
The Trust has requested for the timber to be cut into movable lengths for parisheners to collect and use as logs etc, if you would like to collect please feel free to do so when the tree work is completed, to help with the £850 charge to fell the tree any contribution received for collecting the timber would be greatly appreciated.
