Avon and Somerset Police have issued a warning with regard to a Amazon scam, the caller claimed that they were on a local number (01643) and that £500 had been taken from their account you are then asked to press 1 on your keypad, by pressing 1 this enables the caller to record everything you say especially bank details. Please never press 1 on your keypad if you do not know the caller and just simple hang up.
