The Queen will be celebrating her Platinum Jubilee next year with the celebrations taking place from Thursday 2nd June until Sunday 5th June. The council would like to mark this occasion with an event on the village green. So that we can get ideas from residents, it is proposed that a meeting will take place on Thursday October 7th commencing at 7.00pm, and for a committee to be formed. As on previous occasions, Winsford will be lighting a beacon on Winsford Hill at 9.30pm on Thursday 2nd June, and arrangements have already been made with regard to this event.
