Good morning,
Just to inform you that there is an ice patch 15 metres long across the road above the Winsford sign in Halse Lane, this has been caused by a blocked gulley and excess water running off the fields. A big thank you to Sarah and Tony Little who have cleared the gulley and salted the ice on the last two mornings and evenings, the ice is still there due to its thickness and the cold weather. Halse Lane is not covered by Somerset County Council highways gritting scheme, that is why there are four grit boxes on the hill.
