The council would like to remind all residents that it is their responsibility to ensure their hedges are cut and do not impede on to the road creating a safety hazard to pedestrians and vehicles. Â This also applies to hedges and trees that overhang the carriageway where by law there should be a clearance height of at least 4 metres.
