As you are probably aware we have been advised by Exmoor Park that the tree by the metal bridge has to be felled due to Ash dieback disease. The Trust has been told by the tree surgeon that the work will start on Monday 8th March (weather permitting) and last for two to three days. The wood will be cut into lengths for parishioners to take away for logs, and as a help to fund the cost of felling the tree the Trust are asking for wood collection contributions.
More details will be given nearer the time regarding the closing of the Green and car parking arrangements.
