At the council meeting on Monday 29th November, councillors were given the opportunity to look at bench designs which were submitted by the forge who manufactured the metal seat on the village green. The council took the decision to proceed with the bench which will cost around £2000. The bench will be funded from the proceeds of the sale of Miss Ann’s prints. It is envisaged that the bench will take six months to be made. It is proposed that the bench will be placed by the bus shelter.
