Good morning
The A396 will be closed between Coppleham and Wheddon Cross for fourteen days for the road to be repaired due to major subsidence at the start of the hill to Wheddon Cross, this means that the road to Taunton via Quarme Lane is open, the council are unaware that the road will be open when the work is completed for the day or at the weekend. This is of course will mean that there will be extra traffic through the village due to the diversion.
